WHO WE ARE

KDance Studios is an independently run dance school in Folkestone, Kent dedicated to providing quality dance classes.  Kirsty is a passionate dance teacher with over 20 years' experience, who is dedicated to helping children move with confidence and joy.  Kirsty has had the privilege of working with dancers of all ages and skill levels with children's wellbeing always at the heart of teaching. 

KDance Studios offer a range of dance classes that cater to beginners and experienced dancers always promoting creativity and freedom to explore movement. Our welcoming environment encourages dancers to express themselves through dance and to build lasting friendships. KDance Studios inspires children and adults to gain confidence and to enhance their sense of belief and pride in themselves.

MEET KIRSTY

With nearly 40 years of dance experience and over 20 years of teaching, I have dedicated my life to sharing the joy, discipline, and creativity that dance brings. Holding a Dance Degree and a Master’s Degree in Teaching & Learning, I combine technical expertise with a deep understanding of how people learn best. My background also includes full DBS certification, safeguarding training, and First Aid qualifications, ensuring every class is both safe and supportive for all students.

Dance has always been more than just movement for me—it’s a way to connect, express, and discover who we are. At KDance Studios, I aim to create an environment where every dancer, no matter their age or ability, feels encouraged to grow in confidence, develop new skills, and most importantly, have fun. Each class is built on passion, positivity, and a love of learning, because I believe dance should inspire both the body and the soul.
